Gordon, with the counsel of his good friend Dr. Phillip Parvin, planted the original farm in the late 60's. Gordon is also credited with starting and managing the first cooperative protea marketing organization on Maui. The industry has a history rich with stories that could go on for ever.

• Unpack flowers immediately.
  
• Recut 1/2” off the stems initially and then again every other day when changing the water supply.
  
• Avoid exposure to temperature below 45 degrees and keep away from heat sources and drafts.
